First Selectman's Debate
During election years the club sponsors a debate between primary candidates for the office of First Selectman. Attending the debate and listening to each candidates lets voters be better informed when they place their ballots on election day.

Golfing
Golf Tournament
An outstanding golf tournament is sponsored by Rotary at Tashua Knolls Golf Course. Following a barbecue lunch, thirty-six foursomes tee off for a shotgun tournament. Golfers play the best ball on each hole. A hole-in-one on certain holes wins a brand new car or other valuable prize. After the tournament ends, golfers are treated to a gourmet meal where prizes are awarded. The project offers great fun for golfers and raises about $5,000 annually for Rotary service projects.
Dictionary
Dictionaries for Third Grade Students
Every year Trumbull Rotary gives a Student Dictionary to every 3rd grade student in every Trumbull school (public and private). We encourage the students to use the tools that can make reading more rewarding and fun.
Read Aloud Blackboard
Read Aloud
Read Aloud is held each Spring to demonstrate to school children that business leaders value both the children and reading. Community volunteers read for about a half to school classes. After reading, the volunteers autograph the book and present it to the classroom. All public and private schools in Trumbull participate and about 200 volunteers read. The project is cosponsored by Trumbull Rotary and the Trumbull School Volunteers. If you are interested in reading in the Spring, please contact Judy Kline at 203-452-4304

Breakfast Plate
Scholarship/Prospective Member Breakfast
"Free" breakfast with a celebrity speaker combined with an introduction to Trumbull Rotary. This community is invited to this annual event that accomplishes several club goals. Recent speakers included State Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and Congressman Christopher Shays. The breakfast is "free"; but we hope you will leave a generous tip for your  Rotary waiter. Tips typically raise over $5,000 for scholarships.
Senior Picnic
Senior Citizen's Picnic
With the assistance of the community's Senior Citizens Center and local grocers, the club hold an annual picnic in late summer. Seniors are invited to a free picnic under a tent on the town green. It's a great opportunity for fellowship with a truly "free lunch."
