Trumbull Rotary Grants are Now Open

These have been and continue to be difficult times. Very worthy nonprofits are experiencing tremendous strain to meet the needs of the community, especially the already disadvantaged populations. With things more open, we are happy that we can once again conduct our fundraising events and begin to consider grant requests. Funds are very limited, but we are doing what we can to help the community. 

All grants must be filled out electronically by using the provided form. Please read the instructions on the form to make sure you have complied with the requirements. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact the Grants Chair Deborah Cox at rotarydeb@aol.com 

Trumbull Rotarians continue to place service above self, and we continue to actively volunteer and seek to help the community in various ways. 

We require at least a 60-day response time. Grant requests require review and recommendation from the grants committee, and then final approval from the Rotary Club of Trumbull Board of Directors. The Board meets monthly. Please address all requested areas on the Grant Application.

The Trumbull Rotary Foundation is designated as a non-profit 501(c)(3). Our Foundation is committed to assisting organizations meet the existing and emerging needs of members of the community in the Greater Trumbull/Bridgeport. We also provide assistance in challenged areas around the world by partnering with other Rotary Clubs.

Community Assistance Grant Guidelines

The Trumbull Rotary Foundation gives preference to requests that fall within Rotary International's six areas of focus

1. Promoting Peace
2. Fighting Disease
3. Providing Clean Water & Hygiene
4. Saving Mothers, Children and Families
5. Supporting Education
6. Growing Local Economies

 Types of Organizations that may apply

• Non-profit organizations with 501(c)(3) status.
• For profit entities, as long as the grant will allow the organization to extend services to people who could not afford the program otherwise.
• Civic organizations and/or other organizations with a 501(c)(3) fiscal agent and an application that meets one of the Foundation's program priorities.
• Faith-based organizations that submit an application that benefits all community residents, does not proselytize and is not religious in nature.
• Municipal agencies that submit an application that meets one of the Foundation's program priorities and targets an unmet community need.

Funding Levels - The range of grants from unrestricted funds is typically between $250 and $2,500.
